Cyber Crime Awareness Talk
Cybercrime and Scams are on the increase. In response to this Devon and Cornwall Police have dedicated Cyber Protect Officers in place. The role is very much like a Crime Prevention Officer, however, they focus specifically on technology enabled and technology dependent, on-line crime.
Launcells Parish Council has a Cybercrime Awareness presentation at the next meeting on 7th July at 7.30 by one of the officers. These talks are designed to increase public awareness of Cybercrime and reduce the chances of attendees becoming Cybercrime victims.
